Plaza las Americas

Plaza Las Americas is an American style mall constructed and opened in 2002. At one end is Liverpool, a department store that is the biggest chain in Mexico. At the other end is Chedraui, a Mexican chain store. It has groceries, clothes, and electronics among the many things available there. It is similar to a Super Walmart. In the mall there are also many other types of stores, some as you would find in the US, for example there is a Crabtree and Evelyn, with luxurious products for your skin. As is typical for most malls, there are a few stores that come and go, depending on the success of their sales. there is also a food court with some US chains, as McDonalds, and some exclusive to Chetumal, as Don Joses and Sergio's Pizza. There is a cineplex, Cineapolis, which has first-run movies, many in English with Spanish subtitles, and some dubbed.
