Senator of Quintana Roo Ludivina Menchaca Castellanos, called on the Mexican state to recognize the work that millions of women do for their families, communities and the country. These women have achieved important objectives, and should be taken into consideration for government posts.

“In the past five years have invested in Quintana Roo more than two million pesos on drinking water and sanitation, bringing basic services to the largest population and improving the quality of life for everybody at Quintana Roo”, reported the general director of the Committee on Water Supply and Sewerage (CAPA), Pedro Flota Alcocer.

On March 9th will be held in Quintana Roo the First Regional Forum of the Work: "Towards an Integrated Model for Prevention and Treatment of Addiction," said the State Social Worker, Narcedalia Martín de González, noting that this event will be led by the president of the National System for Integral Family Development (DIF) Margarita Zavala de Calderón;the Federal Health Secretary, José Angel Córdoba Villalobos, and the Governor of the State Félix Arturo González Canto.
